Noel's surgery went off without a hitch. She was back to her old self the very same day. Randall took the day off from the hospital and loved spending time with her at the children's hospital. He held her and rocked for a while in a rocking chair as she was coming out of anesthesia. That was a special treat because Noel usually does not hold still long enough to cuddle very much.
Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. At her follow-up appointment, Noel's doctor said her eyes look great! No sign of infection and they are already starting to cross less than they used to (it takes a while for the brain to figure out how to work the muscles in their new positions). She should be getting a new prescription after Christmas.
