Noel's eye doctor has recommended that she receive eye surgery. Her strabismus (cross eyes) has gotten worse even with glasses over the last year. We have her scheduled for surgery on Friday, November 2nd. The ophthalmologist will detach and reattach the medial rectus of both eyes (muscle attached to the eye next to the bridge of the nose). After about a week, he will recheck her eyes and give her a new, smaller prescription for her glasses. Apparently it is a short surgery with quick recovery and Noel's doctor is very experienced, so we expect everything to go well. But we appreciate your prayers in her behalf. We're excited for Noel to start seeing things in 3-D again! She has pretty much no depth perception right now with her eyes misaligned and consequently bumps into things and trips a lot.
